Vortex

The Vortex was the second roller coaster to drastically change the appearance and functionality of Wonder Mountain. Suspended coasters are a rare breed in the world of amusement parks. The speed and swinging momentum of this ride make it one of the best suspendeds anywhere. Not only does Vortex take riders for a scenic tour of Wonder Mountain, but crosses over the heads of anxious onlookers and soars perilously close to the surface of the lake.
Notes
In 2005, the Vortex operated with five cars per train.
