Thunder Run is a creative re-invention of lowly Blauer Enzian that once lived outside Wonder Mountain. The ride is also unique in the park in that it is the only coaster
that does not have a lift hill and gravity to propel the train. Thunder Run uses several electric motors to power the train around the track.
As one of only two rides that reside on the mountain, Thunder Run actually takes riders into the abyss of the mountain, through the dark tunnels and dangerously close to the dragon
guardian of the mountain. Though not an original planned part of Wonder Mountain, Thunder Run has become an iconic part of centrepiece of the park since it's placement there some 20+
years ago.
