Skyrider is a very early version of a standup coaster. Looks can be deceiving: this ride packs plenty of punch. Though much shorter and tamer than many standups today, Skyrider continues to draw a crowd. By standing up throughout the ride a person's centre of gravity is much higher up in the body and therefore the weightlessness experienced during the course of this ride feels very different to that of a sit-down coaster.
