How does Leviathan rank up against the other coasters you've ridden around the world?

I've riden all the B+M hypers in the world now, except the one at Universal Japan (and obviously Shambhala, since it's not open).

I think my favorite of the bunch is still Goliath at SFoG, but Leviathan's smooth, fast, easy, and re-rideable.

I also think a lot of people coming up this year will be disappointed, as it's now been so over-hyped. It's an excellent, well-engineered ride (perfect, really), which means it is never out-of-control.

-Bizzaro (it'll always be Superman to me) and Nitro are exceptionally good
-MF is more forceful, Leviathan is more enjoyable. Hard to choose between the two.
-i305, Kingda Ka, Diamondback, and Dragster don't do much for me (especially Ka - it wouldn't bother me at all if that ride closed and never reopened).

Leviathan measures up pretty well against lots of rides that I've been on. I really don't declare a ride being in my top 10 with so few rides on it (wanna get on it in every row in different conditions first), but I do enjoy it more than all of the B&M hypers I've been on (Behemoth, Nitro, Apollo, Diamondback), Goliath at Magic Mountain and Millenium  I've always felt that the B&Ms in that list are all pretty tame force-wise in comparison to other rides, and the same goes for Leviathan...It's just that the extra little bit of extra height and speed made a big difference for me on this one. I've never been a huge fan of Millennium because of how massively spread out the layout is, so that was a given for me.

However, a ride like Leviathan never really stood a chance against a ride like Intimidator 305 in my opinion. I was lucky enough to get on that beast opening day, and the action and forces on it absolutely blew me away. I understand Leviathan is meant to deliver a completely different experience than that, but preferring more intense designs is just my taste in coasters. The same applies to Bizarro because that one's pretty action-packed as well. Leviathan pretty much totally delivers on what it was meant to deliver, though, and is a world class coaster.

I also feel like comparing Leviathan to Dragster or Kingda Ka is pretty silly. I really have no idea what elements you could compare at all!

Behemoth is one of my all time top coasters. It's all about that sustained airtime for me.
I grey-out on every ride on Millenium Force. I found Bizarro so intensely uncomfortable to ride that I couldn't even appreciate the layout or elements. I thought Goliath at Magic Mountain was pretty lame. Not only did I grey-out on I-305, I actually came close to a full black-out on one lap.
I want the coaster to be fast and exciting, but not painful and jarring. I want to be able to ride and re-ride. My ERT session on I-305 nearly killed me! For me... B and M wins every time on rider comfort alone!
My first ride on Leviathan was a little disappointing, to Duck's comment above. However, after I rode it a few times, I was really warming to it. Then a front row ride and I was hooked. It won't be in my top 5 of all time, but it is a world class coaster in my home park - I will ride it a lot!

this year I'm hoping to get out to kings island waldameer bush gardens and Darien lake other than cedar point and universal studios. I want to see how behemoth and leviathan compare to diamond back ravine flyer 2 and cheetah hunt.

Leviathan is a great ride in my opinion. I loved the sheer speed of the ride and how it just races through the entire track! It really is a world class ride! I got to (luckily) get a ride on Media Day/SPPN. I personally think that once they shed the nylon wheels and the weather gets nicer that it will give it a bit more speed and less whipping cold air to enjoy.

MF is very nice for the first half of the ride, but for some reason after the second air-time hill I just can't wait for it to finish.
I305 I find it to be too intense, even though I don't grey out at all.
Goliath was meh... alright. It did not stack up to expectations IMO

Like mentioned above, Behemoth is all about air and will always be a favourite! I got a chance to ride Behemoth right after Leviathan and it still (and always will) delivers %100. I was on TPR and some individuals where comparing the two as identical... err no. Leviathan is all about speed and Behemoth is all about air!
Leviathan is a good mix of air-time hills, turns, overbanks and speed! :)

How does it stack up against x2. That's my all time favourite coaster.

^I actually just rode X2 about 20 days before Leviathan, but they're a strange pair of coasters to compare. In terms of intensity, X2 definitely takes the cake. Leviathan is a million times smoother, of course. The two give completely different experiences though, lol.

Two totally different beasts there; like comparing a Benz to an RX-8.
