How big was the queue line? Can we expect lines on opening day to reach international street? I am getting there right at 9 AM on opening day for early entry.. hoping to get a few rides in on opening day

Second round of pics is up. These are just a few of the ride auction. You can view them at http://www.cwmania.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=261 .

The line for Leviathan was busy but not swamped with people like I was expecting. I would venture to say that it was quite a bit shorter than Behemoth's SPPN line when it was new.

When the park gates opened the queue filled, but later in the night the line was no longer than 20 minutes. For the most part, all other rides were walk-ons. Definitely not the crowds we were expecting, I'm assuming due to the cold (and perhaps the park did not properly advertise this night well enough).

Here's a full set of full size pictures from the Charity Auction event from today!

Image
Welcome to the 2012 season at Canada's Wonderland!

Image
The new sign at the entrance looks great.

Image
As does the entire front entrance.

Image
We're all here to ride Leviathan!

Image
They've done a nice job landscaping near the first drop.

Image
The areas around the supports near the front entrance look nice as well.

Image
And they've got the nets ready to catch anything that may fall from our pockets.

Image
This guy was waiting by the front gate for us.

Image
And Snoopy was waiting to greet us at the Market Place before our first ride.

Image
The auction raised a lot of money for Sick Kids Hospital.

Image
The Leviathan Plaza looks so great. It really matches the Med Fair area well. Even the lights match the original. The park has paid a lot of attention to details.

Image
Surprise! What an amazing addition.

Image
The Leviathan has smoke billowing from its nostrils and colour-chaning LED eyes.

Image
I love the details on the back of the sign. Check out how the tail transforms into track.

Image
The first riders are heading up the stairs into the station.

Image
The first train of riders is off!

Image
It was a cold & windy first ride...

Image
But everyone LOVED it!

Image
Now it`s time for CWMania to ride!

Image
Happy riders flying over the front gate.

Image
And here`s the mount we used to film this...

I can't get warm...I'm so cold.

Also, to anyone that was on the ride during the auction, check the toronto star's website. Found myself in a couple of pictures they posted. CTV also had a clip I saw myself and quite a few other people on.

Sadly I wasn't able to make it to SPPN :( But I will be going opening day at 9:00 a.m to get an early spot in line for Leviathan!!! So.... how was it!? Did Leviathan have as intense vibrations as Behemoth? And one other question... HOW IS THE AIRTIME ON THE SMALL HILL AFTER THE FIRST OVBANKED TURN! Did you feel like you were being thrown out of your seat??
"I won't stop riding, until I've rode them all..."
I starting counting down way too early... is that bad?
Behemoth ride count: 41

The air time on the low to the ground hill is amazing, Its not the same airtime you get on behemoth but it is something very different in a great way. Also a very different feeling depending on what seat you get.
