Don't know if anyone has checked out the new pics on the leviathan website yet, but the theming on the arcade/onride photo building really fits into the medeval theme. It looks amazing with the station right beside it! Nice job Cedar Fair!!
I'm going to take the bet that my art teacher doesn't come to this website but I just thought it would be fun to share that he relates EVERYTHING to wonderland. He'll be talking about texture and he suddenly uses wonder mountain as a example. Then today, he was talking about focal point and randomaly just said, "oh hey, have you seen that blue monster....oh what's it called....that big new coaster a wonderland? They are like pushing it through the track. You know, not with real people buy with test dummies..you know, just incase they fly off the track and kill everyone."
I tried to hold in my laughter as much as I could and thank good I was able to control my slef!!!
OMEffingGod I am stolked for Leviathan the POV got me all tingly inside lol!! I can't wait to sit front row and back to enjoy the speed, the G-force and the thrill!! Cedarpointfan1 were are you????
So once again coasterboy and I were treated to a morning with Dineen and Lindsey from Public Relations and Special Events. There's lots in today's update! We spend quite a bit of time on Leviathan (including more footage of testing). There's also a couple updates on 2012 entertainment offerings. The full set of pictures can be found here: http://www.cwmania.com/gallery/thumbnai ... =1&sort=dd
Checking out the transfer track area.
Station view from the base of the lift.
For those of you that love chains and gears.
Ready to go up the lift!
Here's the first train ready to make the very first test run on Leviathan!
Soon we`ll all be entering the station here getting ready to hop in to one of those comfy B&M seats.
Big coaster. Big sensors in the station.
Red, orange and yellow. 3 comfy trains ready to thrill guests in just over a month.
I am so jealous of all those water dummies...
Custom mount for the GoPro camera used for the POV we`ve all enjoyed.
Station is coming along. Still lots of details to add.
Another view of the station. It definitely blends in with the other stations in the Med. area.
This is where you`ll be able to purchase your on-ride photo.
For the those of you that love a nice, big motor!
Wiring continues.
Wiring continues 300ft in the air.
Soon, this will be a queue full of excited guests!
Now, let us take a quick walk down memory lane...
It all started almost a year ago with a fence and these same pipes showing.

Great update kunpc1 that POV looks great. To know this beast will be getting faster as testing goes on is amazing. Looks like they just have to finish up the that one corner with the white and the exterior will be just about done. Im glad so much is being done to reintegrate this area with the medieval theme. All we need now are some jesters an costumed employees
Thanks again kunpc1 for that amazing update!!! These pictures of the station and surrounding area are making me so excited for Season pass preview night! Can't wait to see this in person!
Amaizng. Love the update with the picture of the tubes. I remember being so excited something was happening. Nothing could have prepared me for this lol.
Just booked my trip. Gonna try this out for myself in June. psyched
^ So it's off topic because we're grateful for kunpc1's amazing updates and letting him know we deeply appreciate them, and this automatically means they're stupid posts? Without him, we would have NONE of these great updates. Your post is just rude imo.

Thanks everyone, I love doing it. Hope you all enjoyed that walk down memory lane with the last 2 pictures in the update. I was standing by the station yesterday and noticed all the pipes and said to everyone there how amazing it was that it all started with those same pipes, a pile of dirt and a fence almost a year ago. The speculation was HUGE and who knew we'd end up with a GIGACOASTER?
The station area looks awesome and there's still so much to add. I would just like to confirm that the area under the hammerhead (former Canadian flag area) will no longer be accessible. The pathways are being removed and you'll be limited to the main pathway that goes around that plot of land. Somewhat disappointing but hey, worth it to get this great coaster!
