I've actually heard that a lot so far this season. Personally I don't feel the two can/should be compared, as the overall ride experiences are quite different. I think that is a great thing though. They managed to add two rides that can be viewed as similar to most people, but the two are actually very different. I was a little worried when Leviathan was announced that people would neglect Behemoth, but I'm happy to see it certainly has not been that way.

One great thing I have noticed so far this season is that due to the crowds heading to Medieval Faire for Leviathan, all of the other rides in that area are getting much bigger lines. Its great to see more people on that side of the park for sure!

so behemoth has more airtime then leviathan. just asking ,never been on leviathan yet

Oh my gosh!!!! I just got back from Canada's Wonderland and Leviathan was amazing!! I rode it 5 times in total. 3 times in the very back. 1 time in the second row. And finally the last time was in the very front. The back was pretty great, really fast. The front I would have to say is the best. The wind in your face feels like its ripping your face off and at the top of the first drop, you have a second too look at the drop. What an amazing ride. And it is actually different from Behemoth.

^Yes, Behemoth has more airtime than Leviathan overall.

Got a couple of rides in yesterday (wait time was not more than 10 minutes around noon!). I hadn't had a ride since SPPN/first riders auction on the 27th & it's running SO much faster than it was then! You literally come screaming into the final brake run & even get a final little pop of airtime as you hit the brakes. On the 27th, it was moving so slowly it felt like we were going to fall out of our seats on the left hand side of the train in the final turn. It 's really an amazing ride.

I also love the 4 across seating - we got to chat with the people beside us on the way up the lift hill on every ride, & whether they're terrified or have mad love for the ride, it totally adds to the experience, IMO!

I definitely grayed out after the first banked turn... It was such a strange feeling. I've never felt anything like it before.

I was a nervous wreck going into my first Leviathan ride. Anxiety was going to kill me as I got seated to go up the lift hill. Once your at the top that magnificent view 8) glances you with sweet scenery and Bam. Down the hill the train went It was absolutely well worth the wait!! I am so pleased with Leviathan and what B&M managed to accomplish with her!!! This coaster is definately up there with MF and SD!!

Went to the park today and got 7 rides in...

Good golly... I am falling more and more in love with this ride. I think the operators were catching on that I was pushing up my knees while they were checking restraints though...

FINALLY got to sit at the front. I was a single rider today and there was a group of 3 going in the front.

I'm not usually a big "OMG THE FRONT IS THE BEST" kind of guy... but WOW

First time at the park this year, the weather was great and the crowds were thin most rides were near walk on which was awesome.... first time riding Leviathan I nearly crapped my pants OMG I love intense coasters but I have to be honest this one actually caught me off guard the steep drop + the height + the sheer speed OMFG it was so incredible!!! :D

The 2nd time around I was a pro I knew what to expect and had my hands raised almost the entire time except for 3 head/arm chopping sections where I got a little worried hahaha!

Seriously I'm so proud we have such an epic coaster in our own backyard, I think they need to add a new intensity rating for this ride though and call it a level 10 lol!
Niagara Falls deserves a world class amusement/theme park and Marineland is not it!

I used to do the exact same thing in regards to lifting up the restraints with my knees but be extremely careful with how much you lift the restraints. About two years ago and a bit I was on Behemoth and raised my knees what felt like an inch. In the chaos of talking with my friends who at that time never been on Behemoth, I forgot to check my restraints after lifting my knees. I have done it a hundred or more times on Behemoth. I always check the gap between me and the restraint, that day I didn't. During the first drop I was what I believe the closest I have ever been to sh***ing my self in my life. I started to fall out of my restraint or at least that's how it felt. Holding on to the lap bar was my only way I thought I would live and Im a hands up till the brake run kind of guy. Please for yours and everyone's safety, mental and physical don't get to relaxed with how much space you can have between the restraints and your self. B&M clam shells can lock pretty far from where your lap is. I am a skinny person and it can easily be 4-6 inches away from my lap and still lock. I am not saying you would or even could fall out, that I don't know. I do know the feeling I had that day still scares me. :( Just be careful.

p.s. I haven't lifted my knees on any ride, since that day.

I'm now less than a week from flying to Canada. Therefor I'm a week from going to wonderland and my first ride on leviathan. I have been following the construction, reviews and video's of this ride since the very first photo's of land clearing and tubes showed up. I'm so excited and I have no fear of being let down by the ride.

It's not my first time wonderland. Since my first visit 2 years ago I've been hooked on this park, and in a way tread it like its my home park. Boy would I wish a wonderland-like-park would open in the netherlands, or europe for that matter.

Anyway, I wanted to say thanks to all of you who took the time out of their buisy lives, to share the photo's, thoughts and opinions. It has been realy awesome to be able to follow the construction so close up. While being so far away.
