I was there from 10 til about 2:30 today. Park was packed - 20 min wait to park, & every time I walked by Leviathan, the line was out past the queue area & wrapped around the outside. Vortex & Thunder Run were also queuing out into the park. Other rides (Minebuster, Dragonfire) weren't nearly as bad.
The good news is, as I was leaving, there were TONS of people streaming out the exit, so maybe it'll empty out some if anyone is planning on going tonight.

I was there today. The traffic was the worst I've ever seen it -- solid line of traffic from 400&Major Mackenzie all the way to the entrance off Jane. Almost every queue was full, even Minebuster. Behemoth was one of few exceptions, only taking 2 or 3 back switchbacks, probably the shortest wait in the park at 30min. It was an elementary school PA Day.. Never again.

Going to give it another try tomorrow...hopefully the weather forecast of thunderstorms throughout the day will keep the crowds down a little. I can't believe that there would be a PA day so close to the end of the school year but what do I know.

Children need their rest these days. Does homework still exist these days?

My fiancee is a teacher and the reason why they have PA days so close to the end of the school year is not to give the students a day off but it's to give the teachers a chance to finish up their report cards. And when they have a PA day at the very beginning of a school year and parents are wondering why they need it then, that day is so that they can reorganize their classes and move students to different classes as necessary.

That sounds like a logical reason fo rit, but i assure you that not all school boards run like that, my wife is a teacher, and she gets sent to workshops on those days, next year, when everybody starts school on tuesday september 4th, the halton district catholic school board teachers will at be at a seminar, until about noon that is, then they will all be racing home.
