The new marketing team sucks. That's the problem. It's been the problem for two years now.

There is probably nothing to show yet. Patience is a virtue ;)

SkyHawk's hub structure is almost complete and will be arriving from Gerstlauer's fabrication warehouse in Germany very soon! 8)

The ride is still in Germany! OMG! Really. Should be sitting on CW grounds right now. Seems to me that they are really slow at getting it built, since this ride was announced in August. Ride should be built by end of March, to allow for testing and training. I think CW will be pushed for an on time opening.

I was thinking the same thing. I get that it's not as big of a ride as something like Behemoth or Leviathan, but we're only 3 months away from opening day and construction STILL hasn't started yet. Heck, WindSeeker didn't start construction until late October/early November, and even with roughly half a year of construction time it still suffered from a bunch of technical issues which pushed back its opening date from May 8th to May 24th; and even then CW still had a bunch of problems with the ride. I'm beginning to think that we might just have a repeat of WindSeeker's problems if things keep going at the rate they are.
Jinkies!!

I get that it's slow, however, seems like these rides don't take too long to put up, so hopefully that'll make up for it.

Personally just happy to hear some news regarding the ride.

There have been 2 other installations of Gerstlauer Sky Roller's... I would hope at some point, someone would have asked 'Hey, how long did it take the other 2 to put up and what procedure was followed?'

That was an option not available when installing Windseeker...

Sometimes there's an upside to not being the first to have something :)

Not sure how it get's shipped, but from say Hamburg to Montreal is a 2 week trip by boat (less if you want to pay enough)...

I'm not ready to start calling 'failure' yet...

They put all this together in Germany? Are they taking it apart to ship it here. Seems like it would be a lot easier to ship it in parts then assemble it on site

Testing and Training take at least 2 weeks...minimum....At best. Seems like they are on a tight time frame. Surprised, Since I am sure they confirmed this ride early summer with the manufacturer.
Have to wait and see.
