Still missing Sledge Hammer big time. I really hope I can ride it at least once before the end of the season.

Arms lowered down to the ground as of today. Not sure if this is old news or not

^ I saw them down on the ground the past few times I've been there, too! Can't remember when I first noticed them on the ground, though, but it hasn't been too long. A week-ish, maybe?

Same here, I saw the arms on the ground about a week ago but they weren't doing any work on it. :'(

They were moving the old girl today from about 7pm onwards - going through full cycles. I saw them just lowering and raising the arms earlier in the day, then they did some work on one of the gondolas, then they sent her up a couple of times. Hopefully she comes back soon!

Sledge hammer has been running flawlessly and non-stop since about 12:30 today.

^ I just about screamed. Jeez, didn't realize I liked this ride so much. I'm going to be so sad if it's down tomorrow and the day after, since I'll be there those days...

I got a ton of rides on it tonight, even in some pretty heavy rain. It was amazing, and working fine when I was there. Seriously so happy to see this thing running again!

A ride on Sledge Hammer as fireworks light up the sky = priceless.

I'm so glad my old girl is up and running again! Too bad they got her working just after I moved to kingston

Now when I go back to work on random weekends I'll have to catch a ride on her. So, so glad to hear she's back!

Dollywood has been having problems with their topple tower and is now suing HUSS for the lack of maintenance provided. Why hasn't wonderland sued HUSS for sledgehammer yet???

^ Good question!! That thing is a mechanical NIGHTMARE. I was at the park about 15 or 16 times last year and it was either closed all day, or broke down at least once during EVERY visit. It's kind of a shame considering there are very few of those rides in operation... As much as I am a huge fan of HUSS rides, It should be sold for parts and invested into a new ride.

How cool would it have been to put Windseeker there, and left Jet Scream

lol. I guess they didn't want to dwarf Behemoth too much... hehehe
