I want Sledge Hammer back up and running and would be super sad to see it go if it ever did. My routine was always Psyclone>Sledge Hammer>Behemoth.... Always a good day when I rode the rides back to back :D

Sledgehammer should be back up and running within a week or so.

Did it close for multiple days recently? It was operating a week and a half ago.

It's been down for the past couple days. They've been working on it consistently. The park hopes to have it up and running again within a week.

AWESOME :D It really looks like it needs some love :(. I know my name os Psyclone (thehe) but I love sledge hammer just as much. There is like black... what is that... lubricant stains running from the main drum? I'd be a nice touch if they got it cleaned up to :) Just a thought.

Actually I saw it on Saturday (July 23) stop mid cycle and the seats still suspended about 20ft off the ground with riders still in the seats. I came back to that area about an hour later to see Sledgehammer still holding in the same position, and the riders had been unloaded. It remained that way for the rest of the day. Hats off to the ride mechanics for doing their best to keep it running so far!!

^It was still stuck in that position today, with bars in to stop it from going down while they're working on it

I miss this ride so much. :( Used to go Psyclone -> Sledge Hammer -> Stunt Coaster -> Behemoth, was pretty wicked.

It's one of the best rides in the park imo. I got stuck at the top my first time on it... sure was interesting. Just kinda kept spinning around at the top for a long time until it stopped and they had to slowly let it down.

It definitely doesn't help the lineups for the surrounding rides any when it's shut down.

Seems like the ride is a bottomless bucket, and the park keeps pouring the money into it. Sooner or later it will be on it's way to ride heaven,(scrap yard) and melted into something else.

Really? The last time I spoke with park management they were telling me about how committed they are to keeping the only Huss Jump2 in the world up and running...

Do they work with HUSS to solve the problems? They need to fix this once and for all. It's definitely the best flat the park has.

All work on Sledgehammer is now done by Canada's Wonderland maintenance.
