Re: Ninja Partially Derailed at Six Flags Magic Mountain

What about Green Lantern? Isn't that a newer Gen model? I had a scary experience on the Green Lantern two years ago when my restraints were loosened after the attendant checked my seat. Not sure if it was normal but I pulled down onto my restraint to make it tighter. After hearing about the Gröna Lu...

Re: Dimensions: A Cirque Experience

^ Meh. They won an award in Best Overall Production: Budget of $200,001 – $400,000. https://www.canadaswonderland.com/article/media-center/Cirque-Ambiente-Recognized-at-IAAPA-Brass-Ring-Awards It's not like they won an award in best show performance. So you're telling me pcwnut that you've been to E...

Re: Dimensions: A Cirque Experience

Found the video. Indonesia's Got Talent did the laser technique first? Can someone confirm?

Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BC0_31mLZhk

Similar elements were done in Dimensions.

Edit: Or maybe Disney was first? Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgIZrSlPuko

Re: Dimensions: A Cirque Experience

I saw the show yesterday and it was okay. I liked the idea of the clowns going through several dimensions but the acrobatic performances were so so. They weren't stellar in my opinion. My favourite part was the green laser portion. It reminded me of something I saw on Got Talent but I do applaud CW ...

Re: Wonder Mountain's Guardian - New for 2014!

My glasses were spotless today. Boarding time took about half a hour which is very good in my opinion. Ride attendants were taking people's stuff and placing them into the bins, which was really nice of them. Overall a good experience today on the Guardian. Morning thunderstorms must have scared gue...

Re: Speculation: New For 2015

When I was younger Mega Maze at Ontario Place required guests to swipe their cards at specific locations to rack up points. The maze wasn't totally a walk through and required guests to actually spend time to search for these locations. The maze also had outdoor and indoor portions. The novelty will...

Re: New For 2014

^ I got that as well early in the season. I sat in the back row and my gun wasn't working very well. I think they need to improve the sensitivity of the guns because improving capacity doesn't make the ride any better if the guns are not working properly.

Re: Wonder Mountain's Guardian *SPOILER* thread

I think the signage is fine as it is. I have not seen any kids cry as they get off the ride. The finale is suppose to take your breath away. For my family, we were definitely surprised by the element but it didn't scare anyone to death. You hardly have enough time to react once it happens. Once the ...

Re: Wonderland boycotters

So his friends kid comes home crying so his solution is to go cry (or rant depending on your point of view) on Facebook. I doubt that will help change anything. Fast lane is here to stay and everybody will have to get used to it P.s. has anyone else noticed that the lines aren't that bad throughout...

The last 2 returning hills before the helix use to be more distinct but also got smoothed out (I think).

Re: Wonder Mountain's Guardian - New for 2014!

Am I the only one who wants bags to be allowed on stations? As a glasses wearer, I am always nervous about bringing my specs on the ride. However, I need them close to me because I can't see without them. Having them in my bag in the station is a great compromise. +1. I like to have my valuables so...

Re: Wonder Mountain's Guardian - New for 2014!

Yes and no. I will have to admit that CW didn't really think about this thoroughly. If possible, having two carts load on/off at the platform is probably the best option. Or like others said, timed lockers with GoPod technology (what Greg said). Another possibility is just ask the guests to hurry an...

Re: Wonder Mountain's Guardian - New for 2014!

The fly is probably the closest example. I haven't been on the fly lately but I remember dropping of my stuff on a metal table and picking them up afterwards. But as you guys mentioned, getting on and off are on the same side of the platform.

Re: Wonder Mountain's Guardian - New for 2014!

Just remember that short term lockers also present another level of organization as well. While it may sound all nice and quick, they can present more problems as well. When I was at IOA, the Harry Potter locker area was a total mad house. People rushing to lockers and people having problems with th...

Re: Wonder Mountain's Guardian - New for 2014!

The main problem is CW not using the loading platform properly. One train just sits there while the other one is unloading and loading. If CW corrects this, I see loose articles less of an issue.
