Re: The Next Coaster...

Was anyone disappointed by the lack of a construction fence so far this year? Anyone have any thoughts on what might be happening?

Re: Cedar Point - Sandusky, OH

To the posts regarding Cedar Point and their multiple capital investments vs. Wonderland's 'lack of': -Cedar Point is the number one money maker in the chain, even over Knott's which is open year round. When you look at accommodations, merchandise, attendance being driven by regular admission vs. Se...

Re: Splashworks Future

Another CedarFair property that appears to be building a seperate gate for their waterpark. http://www.screamscape.com/html/valleyfair.htm there way be additional space for a smaller parking lot over by Behemoth's turnaround. Could be a significant Splash Works expansion in the works that builds a s...

Re: Splashworks Future

^I agree, but that is why it would be part of a much larger expansion. The space most definitely exists, but the biggest challenge would be making an entrance that works with the giant pond between the parking lot and the water park. This would give the park the option of charging a Splash works onl...

Re: Splashworks Future

Not sure if anyone has noticed, but Carowinds has just announced plans to revamp their water park. Part of the expansion is the kids splashpad upgrade, as well as a slide tower complex, but also very interesting is the separate gate into the water park. If you ask me, all that activity happening aro...

24 riders capacity... looks like it will be okay after all. Maybe more than 24. The site shows max height of 115ft but CW lists 135, so maybe theres a higher capacity version.

Re: 2016 - Skyhawk and Flying Eagles

This looks really cool, although capacity might be an issue if it's not a pay per ride system.

Re: Project 2016!

We've got two different types of B&M track at the factory. One of which is clearly a Dive Coaster for the Point, the other one is likely for the Jurassic Park coaster in Japan.

Re: Project 2016!

I take any rumour started by certain individuals with a giant bucket of salt.

If I were a betting man, I would say the Splashworks section has more work to be done, and that's what we'll be seeing in 2016. If we could get an Ironbuster conversion at the same time that would be fairly perfect.

Re: Project 2016!

I can't believe this is even a topic of discussion... I copied this from a site based out of Arizona which is far less Liberal than Canada. Please take special note the underlined activities, and ask yourself if anyone in the video was partaking in such activity: State Statute 13-3019 A. It is unlaw...

Re: Holiday World 2015

I just tried going to holidayworld.com/1day and it had no effect. Also tried changing my computers time and that had no effect.

I thought for sure Holiday World wouldn't have been smart enough to cover their bases..

Re: All Roller Coaster Designs Discovered?

I would like to see a rebirth of the Suspended Swinging Coaster. Would be cool to see B&M bring this concept back to life.

Speaking of Suspended swinging coaster, anyone see this from NoLimits 2?
